What Parents are Saying

What my 20 month old son was able to accomplish in 8 weeks is astounding! It is well worth the money and time commitment. Flipkick teaches babies and toddlers life saving skills in a very nurturing way. I'm still amazed at what they're able to do, as are our family and friends. Best decision we've made regarding the safety of our child! We will start our 3 month old daughter in lessons with Flipkick as soon as she's old enough."

I really enjoyed Flipkick for my two year old! I didn't think she would be able to complete the program because of her "it's my way or now way" attitude. But her instructor was great with her and she loves to be in the water now! She is able to float and save her self if she fell in and that's good to know because we have a pool. Love! Love! Love!"
Review from mom Nycole B.
We love Flipkick. Our instructor was the calmest person I know—I can learn parenting skills from them! Our daughter learned to swim easily and quickly. Thank you, Flipkick! I can't recommend them enough."

Flipkick has exceptional swimming instructors! My son loved Flipkick and learned survival swimming skills in less than 6 weeks when he was only 2 and 1/2 years old. We would recommend Flipkick in a heartbeat!!"

My son Pryce when he was 17 months old, we had just built a new house out in the country, we had stock pond. They had finished the swimming pool, it was filled and we were working on getting the fence put up. We were leaving to go load up the car to go visit my grandfather and he climbed out of the car and snuck around the back of my house, without me seeing.

So when I went to get in the car, I didn't see him. Paisley was there, but he wasn't. So I opened the door and I called to my husband and I said "Do you have Pryce?". And he was upstairs showering, about to get in the shower, and he's like "No I don't have him".

So I walked in the door, walked from our garage through the kitchen and I could see the water moving. Like something was in there and I could see him, full clothed, tennis shoes, full diaper...a foot away from the steps and he was crying and visually upset, but on his back. But his face, the water was here [pointing to her temples].

When I went to sleep, for the rest of the week, all I could see was that. But he did what he was suppose to do, he floated. I'm so thankful for Flipkick and Kona, because I have my son.

I have 2 daughters, we started with Flipkick when my younger daughter was 6 months old and my older daughter was 3 and a half. There were a lot of reasons why we decided we wanted our kids to swim early. One was safety. There are a ton of residential pools in the area, and we like to spend a lot of summers at the lake. So, we knew they needed to be safe in the water. I was not a good swimmer. I learned how to swim in my thirties.

What brough us to Flipkick, my older daughter was swimming in the summers and was great, was doing wonderful, but by the next summer we had to take lessons all over again, because they just don’t remember it. So, it was playing catch up. We found out from a friend about Flipkick and it sounded perfectly, because we could do it anytime of year we wanted to, 10-minute lessons… perfect…. and we went to take lessons and it was incredible.

The little one got put in the water and within minutes, I don’t know, they figured out how to flip her around, she was swim-float-swimming, I couldn’t believe it you know. I’ve never seen a kid that young, dropped in the water swimming. Then the big one, within a week, was even better than she’d been all summer. I decided we would stay in the program as long as the girls were progressing. I think I’ve counted, it’s been five years.

It works with your schedule; however, you want to make it work. It’s a short amount of time. You see progress immediately. The instructors are calm and patient, both with the kids as well as the parents, cause it’s unnerving to have your kid in the water, especially at such a young age. I just rave; I tell everyone about it. It is completely worth it and you can do it all year round, so that your kid doesn’t have to learn then forget and then relearn. [Text on screen]

Our 16 month old really enjoyed Flipkick! Maybe not at the beginning of classes, but at the end of the program he loved swimming with the instructor. He now truly loves being in the water! Our child has learned the life saving skill of floating on his back for minutes at a time and, even more importantly, he has learned to respect the pool. He no longer thinks of the pool as a curious concrete hole full of liquid to play in. Flipkick is great with the kids and has a great sense of knowing how far to push them without compromising safety. The indoor facility is also nice for year round classes. The Flipkick program of one on one learning for 10 minutes a day actually works for the kids. The daily progress is very apparent and this is the best way to teach young children about the water, while providing a potentially life saving skill that they will never forget."

Flipkick is a great program. We enrolled our sons at the same time when one was 27 months old and the other was 8 months old. It is amazing how far they have come in 7 months. It is actually unbelievable how the instructors can get babies to float on their backs and turn over and kick and turn back over and float. Our oldest now loves swimming and can float on his back, swim across the pool, and swim underwater (at less than 3 years old). The Flipkick program of 10 minute lessons is different than other programs we looked into, but it works. Ask them to send you video of babies in the water they have worked with; it will amaze you."
